Dr. Kathleen Brasfield received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2008 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Upon graduation, she moved to East Nashville and fell in love with the neighborhood. After associating at various locations in Middle Tennessee for several years, Dr. Brasfield is happy to open an independent optometry practice and boutique optical near her home in East Nashville.
She sees patients age 4 and up, and is licensed to diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and diabetes. Dr. Brasfield also specializes in contact lens fitting, including one-days, toric for astigmatism, gas permeable, and bifocal contacts.
Dr. Brasfield lives in Lockeland Springs with her husband, Joe, and their daughter, Linden. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys hot yoga, traveling the world, and visiting all of the amazing establishments on the East Side.
